The process is pretty smooth and fast. I just need to present my IC at the reception, after verification, a queue number was given to me and I can proceed to the waiting area.
I was also given a booklet in 4 languages that briefly explained the vaccine technology and potential side effects after the vaccination. A good read while waiting for my turn.
My appointment is at Woodlands Polyclinic, the place was not very crowded. There were 6 peoples in front of my queue number and it took less than 10 minutes waiting time before it reached my turn.
At the vaccination room, doctor asked my name and IC for verification. She also checked with me if I have previous history of vaccine allergy and other health condition, before she proceed further. In less than 5 minutes, I am vaccinated.
After the jab, I was told to wait at the observation area, for 30 minutes, before I can check out. Luckily I brought a book with me.
So far, touch wood, I do not have any side effect except for a small pain in the injection area. I really hope when we are fully vaccinated, we can back to our normal life again.
I truly encourage you to take the vaccine when you are eligible to do so.
We need to trust science, not rumours.
